We're a creative journalism lab that believes the most important stories often go untold.
Istorias Media started with a simple idea: too many voices are missing from the global conversation. We're here to change that. We dig into stories that matter, especially from the Global South, and find ways to make them resonate with audiences everywhere.
What we do sits at the intersection of journalism, culture and strategic communications. We're not just reporting. We're building bridges in a world that feels more divided by the day.
We're proud members of SPIIL (France's independent online press union) and the IPI New Media Incubator.
Who we are
Istorias was founded by Naira Davlashyan and Marta Rodríguez, award-winning journalists who helped shape Euronews' audio strategy before striking out on their own.
Where we work
Our team is spread across the globe, with home bases in Lyon, France and Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire, plus collaborators throughout Europe, Africa, Latin America and Eurasia.
